Osseo Schools Student Art Show
A student proudly stans beside her artwork.
Teachers in Independent School District 279 are celebrating their top creative students this month at the 13th Annual Student Art Show. They chose one piece from students in kindergarten−second grade, one piece from students in third−sixth grade, and three pieces from students in seventh−12th grade.
Heather Wincek, the Maple Grove Arts Council’s education director, says she knows the students are grateful for the honor “because they work hard to create and have their pieces chosen for the show.”
Lucky for them, there is a reception for students, families and teachers on March 20 from 6−7:30 p.m. And lucky for you, a stroll around the display at the Maple Grove Government Center is free anytime from 8 a.m.−4:30 p.m. on Mondays−Fridays.
