The Ultra-marathon Man Never Stops

Jeff Goldstein takes an 'active lifestyle' to the next level.

Jeff Goldstein is an active man. He is a hardworking funeral director who also makes time to ballroom dance on a competition formation team with his wife, Lori, and compete with the Dance Shoppe Dads in their jazz/hip hop dance line (check them out on Youtube).

He and Lori provide a home to foreign exchange students and homeless cats. He participates in his church choir and also coaches and plays on their softball team. He plays hockey and racquet ball regularly. It makes you wonder how he finds the time to train and run five or six ultra-marathons (races exceeding 26.2 miles) a year. While you may not learn the secret to his time-management skills, read his story in the May issue of Maple Grove Magazine (available May 1 at maplegrovemag.com) to learn more about this energetic and modest Maple Grove Marathon Man.

Until then, read up on a couple upcoming races Jeff is running in:

Grandma's Marathon: June 16

Twin Cities Marathon: October 7
