Author Talk: Sarah Hanley

Local author Hanley will discuss her first book, "Matka", which is based on the true story of the author's grandmother during and after World War II. During the discussion, Hanley will delve into how the book came to be from both a familial and a historical point of view, and how those events and experiences of the past have influenced the present and the future. Bach Christmas Oratorio in Corcoran/Maple Grove

Johann Sebastian Bach’s call to joy and celebration will be presented entirely by the Bach Society of Minnesota with baroque orchestra, chorus, and soloists. BSM’s annual holiday offering (a favorite with Minnesota audiences) will be led by Artistic Director Matthias Maute featuring soprano Sarah Brailey, alto Clara Osowski, tenor Nicholas Chalmers, and bass Jonathan Ten Brink.
