McKeone Peterson

Liz McKeone Peterson is a Montana native who eventually found her way to Minneapolis following stints in Fargo-Moorhead and Omaha. She is a middle school language arts teacher and first met Lake Minnetonka Magazine's editor, Molly Kentala Broman, at a career day presentation in her classroom. Liz has been writing for the magazine since then. She loves the opportunity to meet new people and hear their stories, and she appreciates that her articles allow her to share her writing and writing process with her students. Liz lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Ryan. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, running, hiking, practicing yoga, and weekends up north.
