A fresh transplant after stints in Massachusetts, New York, California, Illinois and Oregon, Misa Chappell has earned the right to claim that Minnesota is the best place to live and write. You can find her tapping away on her laptop at a local coffee shop, whether working on her cookbook-cum-memoir with her Danish half-sister or updating her website, Facebook page or blog. She enjoys writing about all-things-aesthetic: music; visual arts; museum education; beauty industry reports and of course, food! She slakes her culture-thirst as a volunteer tour guide at the Walker Art Center and revels in the Northern outdoors with snowshoeing, bicycling and running around the lakes.
