Springtime in Paris Floral Design Workshop

Ooh la la! Effortlessly chic by nature and elegant in approach, Parisian style sets the stage for a springtime rendezvous. French tulips, freesia, and pussy willow provide diverse color and soft texture. Variegated aspidistra leaves line the tall, stately vase, while bear grass and hanging amaranthus drape around its edges to give this grandiose arrangement a dramatic presence.

K9 Crime Fighters

Officer Jason Buck from the Brooklyn Park police department will explain how K9s are used in police work and will present obedience and narcotic detection demonstrations with his K9 partner, Bongo. Will meet outdoors if weather permits. All ages welcome.

The Virtual Reality Experience

Explore the future with virtual reality experts Phil Rader and Aaron Westre. Learn about virtual reality technology and its role in society, then experience it through hands-on demonstrations using Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard.

Clyde Doepner, the official Minnesota Twins curator, will bring alive the history of the Twins through stories and memorabilia.
