DESCRIPTION:Rock’n the Grove is the Northwest Metro’s hottest outdoor music event featuring live music. \nOpener: Weekend Rockstar \nThis is a high energy rock-n-roll cover band based in the Twin Cities—featuring powerful vocals backed by a seasoned\, rock solid band\, Weekend Rockstar plays the songs you know and love from the classic era of rock music to today—as well as a few you may not have heard in awhile. \nHeadliner: Hairball \nVocalists Kris Vox\, Dave Moody and Drew Hart lead the band through a two hour\, mind-blowing and drop-dead accurate homage to some of the biggest arena acts in the world. Van Halen\, KISS\, Motley Crue\, Queen\, Journey and Aerosmith are but a few of the acts fans will see brought to life. The stage becomes an entirely new rock concert before your very eyes countless times throughout the night. \n2024 finds Hairball celebrating its 24th year of rocking hundreds of thousands of people across the country. Constantly adding more characters\, more pyrotechnics\, more lights\, more sound\, more props\, more surprises … more everything! While Happy often tells the audience “Today is the first day is the rest of your life!” Hairball performs every show as though it could be their last. Every night is a 100 percent full-on\, no-holds-barred\, exciting\, chaotic\, fiery party that has to be experienced to be believed.

DESCRIPTION:Nearly 100 employees and community members of Independent School District 279 put on an annual variety show. Teachers\, custodians\, principals\, cooks\, secretaries\, educational support professionals\, administrators and neighbors participate. \nThe purpose of the show is to raise money for scholarships which are awarded to graduating students of  279Online\, the ACHIEVE program\, Maple Grove Senior High\, Osseo Area Learning Center\, Osseo Senior High\, Osseo Secondary Transition Center or Park Center Senior High\, to assist in the finance of their post-secondary education. \nSince 1967 we have raised and donated over $1.4 million in scholarships. \nShows 2023 \n\nWednesday April 19\, 7:30 p.m.\nThursday April 20\, 7:30 p.m.\nFriday April 21\, 7:30 p.m.\nSaturday April 22\, 2:30 p.m.\nSunday April 23\, 2:30 p.m.\n\nWe are making a little change to our ticket process. We are moving from set ticket prices to a suggested donation of $12 per person.
