SUMMARY:Horse Speak® at We Can Ride
DESCRIPTION:What to Expect from a Horse Speak Clinic? \nA Horse Speak Clinic is an inter-species language course. \nYou will be learning the Gestures\, Postures and Signals that have been proven to imitate the nuanced body language equines use in everyday interactions with each other. \nThere are 3-pillars of Horse Speak: Empathy\, Mechanics and Theory (E.M.T.). Each having their own precise details to help you get started or enhance your knowledge of the language. \nThe topics to be covered will vary because our motto is: \n“The only control that we have about the curriculum to be covered is when there are no horses involved\, once the horses show up you never know what they want to talk about.” \nOur goal in your learning experience is: herd dynamics\, how do horses view their environment\, how to intrinsically create safety for the horse immediately\, learn about equine greeting protocols and how to use a lead rope in a way that makes sense to your horse. \nDuring a clinic we work hands-on with our active participants to help them learn the nuances of the body language skills needed to interact safely with our equine co-facilitators. \nOctober 23-26\n10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday\, Friday\, Saturday\n10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday

SUMMARY:Can Do Woofaroo
DESCRIPTION:Annual fundraiser walk and festival to benefit those needing assistance dogs. \nCan Do Canines invites the public and their well-behaved pet dogs to take part in the Can Do Woofaroo on September 23\, 2023.
