Rock Your Socks

We will be celebrating World Down Syndrome Day by rocking our socks at the Maple Grove Community Center. Join us for a fun time with carnival games, music and socks. We rock our socks on March 21 to celebrate those with three sets of their 21st chromosome!

Socks were chosen because the karyotype of Down Syndrome chromosomes actually looks like mismatched socks. Every year on March 21, people all around the world come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks.
