Our editor has two requirements for a holiday cocktail: It has to taste good AND look the part.
Whether I’m hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas Day, I start the celebration the same way. Each year, I scour beverage sites and back issues of Maple Grove Magazine in search of a little something something to serve as the opening act of our holiday celebration. There are two requirements: It has to taste good AND look the part. This year, I’m adding a signature digestif to the mix. (The recipe is below.) Why? Because I have a new set of swanky coupe glasses that are just hankering for a spin around this year’s holiday get together!
Mistletoe Kiss (tipsychickens.com)
- 1.5 oz. Irish cream
- 1 oz. Green crème de menthe
- 1/2 oz. White crème de cacao
- Ice
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice; shake until frosty. Strain into chilled coupe glass.
