The 26th annual Investment in Youth honors achievements.
District 279 is set to host its annual Investment in Youth program, which celebrates more than 70 students, volunteers and staff for their achievements in Osseo Area Schools and the community.
“These individuals contribute to our community with confidence, courage and competence, and District 279 Foundation is honored to celebrate their achievements,” says Susan Wineland, District 279 Foundation development director. The event recognizes award recipients for their investment in the following categories: Their Own Learning; Betterment of Education; Helping the Community; Modeling for Youth; Overcoming Adversity; and Developing Their Own Talents.
“Each school and program in Osseo Area Schools nominates two individuals to be recognized,” Wineland says. Meet this year’s award recipients during the celebratory program on May 5. The public is welcome to attend the program, which begins at 6 p.m. in the Park Center Senior High School auditorium.
