Spring is right around the corner, and what better way to welcome the season than with a seasonal craft for the kids. Enjoy this beautiful and easy-to-make flower wreath to help celebrate the season.
Supplies:
- 2 one-dozen or 1 18-egg carton
- scissors
- construction paper
- paint and paint brushes
- cardboard or a paper plate
- hot glue (best) or white glue
- pom poms or stickers, optional
Instructions:
- Cut the carton apart, so you have the egg cups and square spacers out. Cut each one into a flower shape by snipping slits down and rounding the petals. Make a variety of numbers of petals and shapes.
- Cut cardboard into a circle, or use a paper plate. Cut a circle from the middle. We used a plate to trace a circle.
- Use construction paper to cut leaf shapes.
- Paint the flowers, leaves and cardboard ring.
- Use hot glue or white glue to arrange flowers and leaves around the wreath.
- Add pom poms or stickers, or paint the flowers’ centers.
