Spring is right around the corner, and what better way to welcome the season than with a seasonal craft for the kids. Enjoy this beautiful and easy-to-make flower wreath to help celebrate the season.

Supplies:

  • 2 one-dozen or 1 18-egg carton
  • scissors
  • construction paper
  • paint and paint brushes
  • cardboard or a paper plate
  • hot glue (best) or white glue
  • pom poms or stickers, optional

Instructions:

  1. Cut the carton apart, so you have the egg cups and square spacers out. Cut each one into a flower shape by snipping slits down and rounding the petals. Make a variety of numbers of petals and shapes.
  2. Cut cardboard into a circle, or use a paper plate. Cut a circle from the middle. We used a plate to trace a circle.
  3. Use construction paper to cut leaf shapes.
  4. Paint the flowers, leaves and cardboard ring.
  5. Use hot glue or white glue to arrange flowers and leaves around the wreath.
  6. Add pom poms or stickers, or paint the flowers’ centers.
