Enjoy the tastes of Germany and more at Oktoberfest.
In Central Park of Maple Grove, a celebration is brewing. The City of Maple Grove, in partnership with Omni Brewing Co., is set to host the annual Oktoberfest from noon to 6 p.m. September 27.
Omni Brewing Co. will provide a variety of beer, including a special Oktoberfest brew. Attendees will also enjoy culinary delights, including traditional pretzels and strudels from Ruhland’s Strudel Haus, sweets and more from local food trucks. Plus, the sounds of traditional polka music will ring through the park as Rod Cerar Orchestra plays a variety of hits.
Don’t miss out on the stein holding contest—a classic Oktoberfest event where contestants hold a glass stein, typically full of beer, straight out in front of them for as long as they can. Other activities include art activities, a craft vendor show, yard games and more.
