Maple Grove Arts Center’s Monster Art Show is Scary Good

The Monster Art Show opens September 9.

October doesn’t hold every card on all things spooky. September winds create their own brand of scary business, and the Maple Grove Arts Center gets into the act with its annual Monster Art Show September 9-November 8. The opening reception Halloween party is slated for 6:30-9 p.m. October 24.

The Monster Art Show and Halloween Party are open to the public, and registration is required to participate in the costume and pumpkin diorama contests.

There will be a special presentation by Heidi Steffens, owner of My Spirit Experience. She is also a master Reiki instructor, ordained Shamanic minister and a Shamanic Breathwork™ facilitator. Steffens is the organizer of the Minnesota Paranormal Research Society and a member of SquatchHers (female-led Bigfoot research group) and co-hosts The Gathering, which is a weekly paranormal radio show on para-x.com (Tuesdays at 9 p.m. Eastern time/8 p.m. Central time).
