The kids are out of school, pools are opening up and the best weather of the year is finally here. Let’s do a tropical drink with a twist. Our local friends Skaalvenn offer a classic liquor with a spicy twist—habanero rum.
- 2.5 cups Pineapple juice
- 2.5 cups Orange juice
- 1 cup Lime juice
- 1 cup Grenadine
- 1/4-1/2 cup Simple syrup
- 2 cups Skaalvenn Habanero Rum
- 1 cup Coconut rum (or 3 cups white rum)
- Pineapple and orange slices for garnish.
Mix pineapple, orange and lime juices and grenadine in large punch bowl or pitcher. Add two tablespoons hot sauce and simple syrup to taste. Add rum. Chill for at least an hour before serving. Use fresh pineapple and orange slices for garnish.
