Kayaking on Fish Lake, taken with an iPhone 10, placed third in the Activities & Events category of our annual Focus on Maple Grove photo contest.
“We love to go to Fish Lake. That day, we decided to go out kayaking for a relaxing day in the sun,” Sarah Cupryna says, who notes the day’s weather was ideal. “It was a warm summer day. [The] sun was shining, and [the] water was glistening.”
Cupryna is no stranger to taking photos of local vistas. “I love to take pictures all over Maple Grove, mostly outdoors in nature,” she says. “I’ve taken many pictures at parks—French Lake, Fish Lake, Central Park, as well as along the Three River Trail system.”
