“I have collected Hallmark Grinch ornaments for years. When my husband and I first started dating, he purchased one for me and enclosed a note. He has done that every year since then. The notes recap what happened in our family the preceding year. As we unpack the ornaments and place them on the tree, we read all of the memories and reminisce. Our children help and love hearing the notes that detail what they were up to as infants.
